Replacement service

Windshield Replacement

Some damage cannot be honestly repaired. A crack that runs into the edge, a break in the driver's direct view, damage over the camera or sensor housing, a windshield that has already been repaired twice — those get new glass.

We install OEM-quality windshields matched to your make, model and trim, including acoustic, tinted and rain-sensing variants. The old urethane is cut out fully rather than skimmed, the pinch weld is primed, and the new pane is set to the depth and gap the vehicle was engineered for.

When replacement is the right call

  • A crack longer than a dollar bill, or one that reaches the edge of the glass
  • Damage directly in the driver's field of view
  • A chip or crack sitting over a camera, sensor or antenna
  • Glass that is delaminating, cloudy at the edges, or has been repaired more than once
  • A break that grew after being repaired

Worth knowing

How long does a replacement take?

Plan on two to three hours on site, plus a cure period before the car should be driven hard. Urethane needs that time, and cutting it short is how windshields leak or come loose.

Do you recalibrate driver-assist cameras?

Yes, whenever the manufacturer specifies it after a glass change. It is a documented procedure, not a guess, and it is included in the job where it is required.

How the replacement goes

  1. Step 01

    Pre-scan and glass match

We confirm what the car actually needs — tint band, acoustic layer, heated wiper zone, camera bracket — and order the mouldings and clips that usually break on removal.

  2. Step 02

    Removal and prep

The old windshield and every trace of old urethane come out. The frame is cleaned back to bare pinch weld, treated for any rust, and primed so the new adhesive bonds properly.

  3. Step 03

    Install and cure

High-strength urethane is laid in a consistent bead, the glass is set and checked for gap, and the car is held until the adhesive reaches drive-away strength. The safe drive time is given to you in writing.

  4. Step 04

    Recalibration

If lane-keeping, automatic braking or adaptive cruise sits behind the glass, the camera is recalibrated to specification before the vehicle leaves.

Questions we get asked

Can you match my original glass?

In nearly every case, yes — the same tint, acoustic spec and sensor configuration. If only a dealer part will do, we tell you before you commit.
