How we work
Mobile Service — We Come To You
Most of our work happens where the car already is — a driveway in Scarsdale, a parking deck in White Plains, a fleet lot in Yonkers. Glass work does not need a lift, and a van carries everything a shop bay does for this job.
It is not just convenience. A windshield should not be driven on before the urethane cures, so working where the car sits means the cure happens while you are at your desk or asleep, instead of while you wait in a lobby.
Good candidates for mobile service
- The car is at home, at work, or in a lot you can leave it in for a few hours
- You would rather not take time off for a shop visit
- A fleet, van or work truck that cannot leave the yard
- A vehicle that is not legal or safe to drive with the damage as it is
Worth knowing
What do you need to work on site?
Two parking spaces near the car and permission to be there. Power is not required — the vans carry their own. In a building lot, a word with the super or manager avoids problems.
Does mobile service cost more?
For most towns in the county, no. Distance beyond the usual range is quoted up front, so the number you agree to is the number on the invoice.
How a mobile visit works
- Step 01
Booking
Give us the town, where the car is parked and a window of time. We confirm glass availability and an arrival window rather than a vague promise.
- Step 02
On-site work
The van arrives with the glass, urethane, tools and calibration equipment. We need about two parking spaces and access to the car.
- Step 03
Handover
We walk you through what was done, tell you the safe drive-away time, and leave the area cleaner than we found it.
